Uninstalled: Napster (?), some Ebay thing (?!), and McAfee F’-ing Overpriced and Useless Antivirus.
Installed: Firefox (good-bye, Internet Exploder, which just imitates Firefox anyway with its “Ooh, look at us, we gots tabs!”) and AVG free antivirus software (I had it on the laptop — it’s probably useless, but I used to have McAfee, a couple of years ago, and it was useless too; I figure that all the antivirus programs are really in cahoots with the bug-makers anyway, so why should I buy a subscription to get screwed?), and a Shockwave plugin for Firefox.
