Okay, this theme is a little easier to read than oddly space white text on a gray background.

I do like this better. If one looks at it with a black light or something does one see images of the several approved Dr Whos?

If you spin around on your left heel widdershins thrice you might. Or you might see SATAN!

You and the cats need to take a break from Orlando. Head out to Cocoa Beach, stick a toe in the water, have a frilly drink with an umbrella in it and leave Dr. Who and the website behind for a few hours.
Yes, the new format is easier to read but looks a bit stark and the border around the “Reply” box is hard to see. No, no, no, this is not a complaint, just an observation.

Might even have been W. C. Fields, turning down a glass of water. (Vast numbers of Great Lines have multiple attributions, it seems.)

Hey Andrea,
How do you (you personally) switch themes? Are there a bunch of canned themes that came with WordPress? Do you design your own?

I used to design my own themes, but I’ve become lazy. Now I just load other themes that people make — just google “WordPress themes” and there are millions out there. It’s not too difficult to load them — they come in a folder all set up, ready to be uploaded to the server and placed in a folder inside the WordPress admin folders. Then I tweak the theme a little — mostly to add my donation links to the sidebar. Sometimes I go so far as to open the stylesheet and change text colors and so on, but lately I’ve been too lazy to do even that.

I forgot to add — there’s a plugin for WordPress that lets you give your readers a choice of themes. I may install that, so anyone can use any of the themes I have loaded up, but first I need to make sure all the themes work properly.

I don’t see why. If a user loads a theme that renders your page unreadable and all the controls inoperable, isn’t that their fault?
No, but seriously, thanks. I suppose I ought to set up a WordPress blog at some point, just to see how the thing works.
