Big Trouble in Little China is the greatest movie EVER MADE.
Don’t argue with me.

Good to see that I am not the only one who loved that movie. Always careful around ChinaTown after that, even though I am in Melbourne, Australia.

You’ll get absolutely NO argument from me. That movie has so many great lines and comic bits and hair-raising, adventurous moments (plus a killer soundtrack) that it has long been a Paco family favorite. And although set in modern times, it has the noir menace and the wonderful pacing of a screwball comedy/thriller from the early ’40’s.
“Are you crazy? Is that your problem?”
“If I’m not back in an hour, call the President.”
“When they ask you, ‘Have you paid your dues?’, just remember what Jack Burton says. ‘Have you paid your dues?’ Yeah, the check’s in the mail.”
Great flick!!

Yeah, that sounds about right.
(“Wasn’t easy!”)
And then there’s Buckaroo Banzai.
