Going postal soon, I promise

Blargle Add comments

Really, I have all these things I want to post about.

(Falls into a coma.)

Ha ha! Kidding! Seriously, I’ve got posts percolating, ideas about the site floating in the ether, etc. I’ve had complaints about the sepia colors and the tiny comment box; I may be getting to the latter soon — I like sepia tone myself. Well, we’ll see. In the meantime, carry on chatting — I’ll get to approving new people as soon as possible.

I’ll second the sepia tone. Its steady. There are some blogs I *wont* read because of overstimulation by all the pretty lights and bells blinking on it. Sepia = the new gray. LOL

  2. Pogria Says:

I quite fancy the sepia tone. It softens my laugh lines!

I would like a larger comment box to accommodate my ample person. πŸ˜‰

Hi Sharon. Long time no see.

  3. Pogria Says:

    oooh!!! emoticons!!!

  4. Sharon Ferguson Says:

Hi Pogria! Yeah, Ive been remiss in posting…am glad I checked in cause I would have come in and said where the heck did everyone go?! Life’s crazy…how are you?

  5. Paco Says:

Sepia? You mean this h’yar lite brown stuff? I think it’s rite nice; kinda reminds me of pork rinds.

  6. Pogria Says:

I’m great Sharon. You’re so right about life being crazy. This is a pretty cool place Andrea has here. I’m getting quite comfortable. Although, Andrea seems to do an awful lot of sighing after I’ve put my make up on in the bathroom.

How’re things over your way? Looks like half of your poor country is either contemplating murder or suicide if the year doesn’t end soon!

Your election circus makes ours look like a vote for who’ll be the one to go collect the lunches from the school canteen.

  7. Andrea Harris Says:

There’s an election on? I thought it was a new season of Survivor: DC.

  8. Pogria Says:

    *snort!!* hehehehe

  9. kc (prairiecat) Says:

That’s the tag they ought to run on FoxNews & the other channels when politics of the day is their topic — Survivor: DC Make a great listing in TVGuide, too.

    It’s perfect.

  10. kc (prairiecat) Says:

ps – I like the sepia, too – easy on my old eyes.

  11. egg Says:

Or echoes of Dyenasty … who’s the bigger Lefty biatch?

  12. Andrea Harris Says:

I’d like to see Hillary and Michelle Obama mudwrestle for who has the right to be president.

What’s that you say? Michelle isn’t the one running for pres? Coulda fooled me.

  13. Grimmy Says:

Have the leftards settled out which trump card trumps yet? Is it the gender card or the race card?

  14. Brett_McS Says:

    I like it.

I see that Kathy Shaidle (fivefeetoffury) has some nice things to say about you.

  15. kae Says:

    I vote sepia, too.
I like it, easy on the eyes.

  16. Crossie Says:

I like the sepia and the burnt edges. Much nicer than Steyn’s orangey 70s look.

  17. marcp Says:

Sepia, I like (for what that’s worth); the attempted simulation of aged parchment, not so much.

  18. blogstrop Says:

All youse fellow reffos better wipe yer feets and punch in via the Paypal button above to show yer gratitudinals for Andrea. She had to move to a smaller place just to keep the home blogfires burning.

  19. MarkL Says:

Bloody hell. Andrea’s passed out on the verandah clutching an empty flagon of mead, Paco is skinning pigs in the back yard and muttering drunkenly about running out of pork rinds and…

    Paco?

They are a lot easier to skin if you kill ’em first, OK?

It’s also easier on the ears. Yes, I know it’s less fun and I know the neighbours are vegans. I’m just sayin’ OK?

…and there is drunken singing from under the verandah. Well, I suppose we all know where Wronwright is, then. Hmm. It’s bass and contralto drunken singing. Make that we know where Pogria is as well.

Oh bugger. I also know where he’s been. Someone catch that damned baby Ankylosaurus, please?

I need to roast it for lunch. He was supposed to get more trilobites, dammit.

  20. Pogria Says:

aw blogstrop, you followed me here!!!

MarkL, you missed one type of singing, Soprano. which is what you’ll be singing if you keep spreading rumours about wronwright and I.

I’ll forgive you if I can have the tail of the baby Ankylosaurus. There’s something about that bony knob……..

    Trilobite cocktail for me please.

  21. kae Says:

    nite, ya mad bastards

  22. kc (prairiecat) Says:

    Sleep well, kae.

  23. Elizabeth Says:

Crud, now Paco has pissed off the Imperial Warrenβ„’ and now they and the pigs are chasing him around the back yard. Hope like heck they don’t catch him, as I’ll be cleaning up Paco bits for days.

Of course, I could go back and get a Tyrannosaur. That would take care of most of it. Except the Imperial Warrenβ„’ doesn’t like them for breakfast.

    Ah, problems, problems.

  24. Paco Says:

From atop the pig pen, balancing precariously…

Help! Get these hogs outta here! Sumbitches got tusks! Shoo, damn you! What the hell’s the opposite of “Sooey”?!?

  25. Old Grouch Says:

    “Chitt’lins!”

Hey Paco, take ’em to Alabama. I understand the tusks are looser there.

    Ducks, runs.

  26. Paco Says:

    Alabama…Tusks. Are. Looser.

Hey, ya’ll come back h’yar, O.G.! Throw some puns at these h’yar hawgs!

  27. Sharon Ferguson Says:

Hey Andrea – did you catch this link off Steampunk Librarian – Raku Ray Guns

    We wants…

  28. blogstrop Says:

Sydney folk take note that Chatswood Musical Society is doing Guys & Dolls, starting tomorrow for a week at Zenith Theatre. Lots of good tunes in that show.
