Finally, my cable’s back. I had a “sorry we missed you” flyer on my doorknob with a note stating that they’d done work outside. Hah, I knew it.

    I deal with the issue of co-workers saying things that they are s u p p o s e d (by company policy) to say, rather than that which might actually address the issue at hand, very often. It puts the torrent of corporate propaganda about How Important Our Customers Are in an entirely different perspective when you know, from direct experience, that the company d o e s things in many cases because of bureaucratic inertia and obfuscatese and self-service instead of because of customers’ needs. No surprise, I guess… (that this particular business is failin… I suppose I’d better not write t h a t, ha).

    I ain’t tellin…glad it’s back, Andrea, makes me feel very lost when my computer isn’t up. Will you miss logging on at Panera & Denny’s? I’ve haven’t had that pleasure…yet.
