Tim’s having a minor health setback. Foolish, foolish cancer cells — don’t they know what copious applications of vegemite and whatever other scary food Australians eat (kangaroo patties, I think) will do to them? One almost — almost — feels a dram of pity for the misguided beasties… Drop offers of support, beer, dancing nurses in short skirts, etc., in the comments.

Andrea, that was quite a shock. Reminded me of something I wondered once upon a time when I first signed on over there…how did you become the Admin for Tim? Love to hear the story if you ever want to tell it. Take care, y’hear?

Well, it was nothing, really. Tim used to be on Blogspot, back in the days after 9/11 when blogs started to become really popular. Blogspot wasn’t prepared for the big upsurge in page hits (this was before it was bought out by Google), and the site was down all the time. (I had a blog on there too. Not my first blog, just the first one I did serious writing on.) Anyway, Tim’s blog was one of my favorites, and it made me crazy that it was always down. People were fleeing Blogspot in droves for their own hosted sites, etc., and I did too. I realized I could host other blogs on my site as well, so I sent him an offer and he accepted. If you look at the sidebar on his main page you’ll see a link to his older sites, including the Blogspot site (under “Previous Tim”).
