Here's how I score this thing:
Bush: Gets behind wheel large tractor he is not experienced at driving, with lots of people around. Irresponsible.
Reporters: Too freakin clueless to know that they are in danger from large tractor with irresponsible driver, yet somehow think they are fit to comment on world affairs and the dangers faced by millions. Stupid.
WH Press Corps: Saves the stupid from the irresponsible. Further proof that wisdom is the domain of the common man.

My first though was of the Austin Powers scene, the guard getting run over by the roller from thirty feet away.
My second thought was, a guy gets into a big piece of equipment, suggests you move, starts it up, begins driving towards you, at what point do you move? When the Secret Service agent tackles you?
And afterwards you get all indignant? How damn stupid can you be? Since Bush is getting such crap from the media anyway, it's too bad he didn't squash a bunch of them, they wouldn't have treated him any worse, and maybe they'd pay attention next time.

Your comment, Ben, founders on the supposition that Bush is "inexperienced" at driving a tractor. He seemed to know what he was doing. You seem to have been infected with the "Dubya the irresponsible fratboy that no one can control" meme. I give your comment a score of zero.

When I heard this, I nearly wet my pants laughing at how completely stupid the 'reporters' were! Pleez. It's a wonder they can cross the street without holding mummy's hand. I have the distinct impression they all take themselves & each other FAR too seriously. I'm with Steve, seeing a couple made into bitter, ugly tortillas wouldn't have upset me at all, seeing as how they spend so much time taking up for the Enemy. Dubya did 'em just right!

This is just another example of the press over-reacting in regards to a president they very obviously detest.
I am beyond weary with these whiny, self-absorbed, self-appointed "experts" who have no clue about how things really work and yet presume to tell us all about it.
Jerks.
BTW, as a man who runs a working ranch, I am sure the President is very familiar with heavy equipment.

Yeah, I'm sure Bush knows nothing about driving tractors. 'Cause, like, on that ranch thingy he lives on, where'd he ever be exposed to one, huh?

Yep, I'm sure a military jet pilot and a ranch operator wouldn't have a clue how to run machinery. Not at all. Because he's so dumb and all.

'W'knew exactly what he was doing. Do you think the SS would have let him get on there by himself? I mean 'W' knows how to have a great time but he's also RESPONSIBLE. I think he was practicing for his next trip to Baghdad.
