The outdoor cat's appetite has come back, so I was able to get her to ingest her thyroid medicine in a spoonful of her favorite food. I hope this trend holds -- neither of us enjoy the experience of prying her little jaws open and shoving the pill down her throat.
Next hurdle: getting her and my cat to get along, because I get the feeling she's going to be around for a while.

Thyroid meds? I've taken that since I was 13 - how was that diagnosis made?I'm glad she's feeling better.
My females get along fine, and the queen (Gladys) tolerates the boy kitties ok as long as she met them when they were young. She's having a bit of a tougher time getting used to the Ghost we brought from Maryland after Hubby retired. But he's a big boy, he'll be ok. Bitch Kitty (the Baby) doesn't like anyone but me. The 2 toms (Moe & the Dog) just leave the girls alone, cuz they tend to be opinionated & territorial to all comers.
