I've never watched 24 and I probably never will, but I've always liked Kiefer Sutherland.
Maybe I'll put in my Netflix queue that movie I saw years ago, the one where Kiefer plays an uptight FBI guy who has to hide out with his hippie parents on their commune, or something. That's all I remember: Kiefer wearing a suit and angsting, then he's wandering around in a dashiki or whatever, and then there's some kind of chase scene where he gets the bad guy. I used to watch a lot of movies...

The movie you're thinking about is Flashback. Dennis Hopper is in it too. Well worth a gander. I bought my copy in the bargain bin at Walmart for $5.50, which is sort of my version of Netflix.

I like Keifer Sutherland's voice. I hear his personal politics don't quite coincide with the way he is on '24.' I believe that's called acting...and he doesn't seem to spend a lot of time spouting his views for the press. I admire that almost as much as I like his voice.

BTW, I haven't seen '24' or any of the other "must see" tv or movies - I just don't get that much out of sitting on my ass watching sex & violence & listening to other peoples' babble. Nothing attractive there at all. I can find so many other, more fun, ways to waste my time. 8-)

I've watched my one and only episode of 24 with this season's premiere, part one. Do they use some kind of random dialog generator on that show or somethinhg?
