My other cat is about ten years old, but she’s still hale and hearty. Domestic cats can live up to twenty or more years if they are taken well care of, but Squeaky (the old, sick cat) I took in as a stray about three years ago, and she’d been living on her own for quite a while, probably eating out of garbage bins and drinking from puddles in the parking lot (you know, with oil and coolant and stuff in it, yuck). I actually wasn’t expecting her to make it this long.

I’m not a regular reader over there, but I get it, too! LOVE it!
I’m sorry about your kitty – I have one I brought from Hawai’i who’s nearly 9 now…no major trouble yet but I know it’s in the future.

The phrasing is just awkward enough to hint that all is not what it seems – to anyone other than an Obama supporter, that is.

I remember when you took her in. Three years ago now. Wow. Poor little thing.

The numerous modifications to the site appearance have finally taken their toll, Andrea. This isn’t the cat post.

All posts are the cat post! The cat is All. All is the Cat.

Yup. If you don’t believe it, just ask the Cat.
